Quick and easy: to and from the airport by car, taxi/rental car and S-Bahn

A Skywalk connects the multi-storey car park (2,900 spaces) and the check-in area. The airport is just 20-30 minutes away from the city centre by taxi. Car rentals are available in the Arrivals area. S-Bahn line 2 stops at the airport’s underground station every 30 minutes. The journey time to the city is 20 minutes.

More destinations and more holiday flights: Dresden Airport switches to summer timetable on 25 March

The Dresden Airport summer timetable 2018 features a big increase in tourist flights. Compared with this time last year, the range of flights on offer is increasing by 26%. The airlines will be offering up to 72 holiday flights a week to cities and bathing resorts in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.

Central German Airports present their summer services at ITB in Berlin

From 7 to 11 March, Leipzig/Halle and Dresden Airports will be exhibiting on a joint stand at the world’s largest tourism fair, ITB in Berlin. Over the first three days of the exhibition, the focus will be on talking to airlines and travel operators. The exhibition opens to the general public at the weekend, when all visitors are welcome to come to stand 104 in Hall 11.2 to find out about the wide range of flights and services on offer at both airports.

Restrictions on S-Bahn connections from/to the Airport
