Airport fire service disabled passenger transport
Assistance at the airport and in car parks
Friendly, competent staff advise passengers and visitors at the airport information desk
We will accompany you to or from your aircraft and we will take care of your baggage for you. We have a special airport fire service vehicle available for this purpose. We will also assist you through check-in, passport control and customs. Our service for disabled passengers is free of charge.
When you arrive at the airport before your departure, simply report to the airport information desk or a check-in counter. If you are arriving on an inbound flight, make yourself known to a member of the assistance team. You can ask any member of the airport staff, or there are telephones in the entrance area (near the information desk) and in the arrivals hall (by the baggage carousels). The telephones are labelled with pictograms.
There are short-stay disabled parking spaces immediately outside the terminal. These can be used free of charge for a short time on display of a category aG or BI disabled pass. For longer parking, please use the multi-storey car park. You can also park free of charge there with your pass. To use the multi-storey car park:
Before departure: Take a ticket at the barrier on your way into the car park. Park in one of the specially designated disabled parking spaces. These are on the ground floor near the pedestrian access to the Dresden Airport Terminal and on the first floor next to the glass Skywalk pedestrian bridge to the Terminal. Place your disabled pass in a clearly visible position on your vehicle's dashboard.
After landing: Please make your way to the airport information desk and ask one of the staff there to call the car park supervisor. The supervisor will let you out of the car park free of charge on presentation of your category aG or BI disabled pass and your parking ticket.
Extra-wide disabled parking spaces are provided in the multi-storey car park next to the Skywalk bridge to the Departures level in the terminal.
