More than 30,000 aircraft take off and land in Saxony's capital city every year. And more than 1.8 million passengers from all over the world check in and out of the Dresden Airport Terminal every year. A large volume of air cargo is also handled here, so business is always brisk in General Aviation.
The Aviation division handles all these activities and works with partner companies located on the grounds of Dresden Airport to ensure that all handling services run like clockwork. Our core values are: security, competence, customer orientation and friendliness.

Passenger handling/operations
The handling agents ASD and AHS offer airlines flying to Dresden International Airport a complete portfolio of handling services on the ramp, in Check-in/Operations and Lost & Found. All their services are provided using the latest technology.
Ground services
Punctual, efficient, reliable: PortGround GmbH prides itself on the quality of its ground handling services for aviation customers. With its highly skilled team of employees and state-of-the-art vehicles and aircraft handling equipment, PortGround GmbH is on the ground 24 hours a day.
Air cargo
PortGround GmbH also offers top quality air cargo services. It handles all types of cargo and provides a full range of import and export handling services. Dresden International Airport’s cargo handling centre currently has capacity for 10,000 tonnes of goods per annum.
General Aviation
There is a separate, functionally designed handling area for business, executive and general aviation (GAT) crews and passengers on the Arrivals level of the Dresden Airport Terminal, offering professional support and assistance and a full range of handling services in a pleasant ambience. It also has a special crew rest room and a lounge for up to 20 people.
