Quick and easy: to and from the airport by car, taxi/rental car and S-Bahn

A Skywalk connects the multi-storey car park (2,900 spaces) and the check-in area. The airport is just 20-30 minutes away from the city centre by taxi. Car rentals are available in the Arrivals area. S-Bahn line 2 stops at the airport’s underground station every 30 minutes. The journey time to the city is 20 minutes.

Cities, sun and sea: three new summer destinations from Dresden Airport – Daily connecting flights to hub airports

Dresden International Airport is ushering in the summer season on 26 March with an even bigger and better range of tourist flights and services. New holiday destinations are Faro, Dalaman and Reykjavik, to which Germania will be flying. Eurowings is featuring flights to Majorca in its timetable for the first time. There will be around 700 more seats per week on holiday flights this year than last summer. What’s more, the airlines will be connecting the border triangle between Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland to the worldwide flight network several times a day. Overall there will be 30 non-stop flights from Dresden to holiday destinations, cities and hub airports in 13 countries in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.

Ongoing growth in employment at the Central German Airports

The increase in jobs at Leipzig/Halle and Dresden Airports continues unabated. 11,348 people worked for local firms, service providers, public authorities and companies operating within the Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG Group at the two sites on 31 December 2016.
