A Skywalk connects the multi-storey car park (2,900 spaces) and the check-in area. The airport is just 20-30 minutes away from the city centre by taxi. Car rentals are available in the Arrivals area. S-Bahn line 2 stops at the airport’s underground station every 30 minutes. The journey time to the city is 20 minutes.

Travel Day at Dresden Airport this Sunday: expert advice, fun and games for kids, flat-rate parking for €3

Sun, sand and sea or city breaks - Dresden International Airport's timetable offers lots of opportunities to explore the world from Dresden. Looking for a flight or a holiday this summer, autumn or winter? You’re bound to find just the thing at the Travel Day in the airport terminal. From 10:00 to 18:00 on Sunday 18 January the 20 or so travel agencies at the terminal - Dresden’s biggest travel centre - will be offering expert advice and attractive early-bird discounts. To give the grown-ups a chance to browse the holiday offerings in peace, there will be plenty of fun and games to entertain the kids. Admission is free. Parking in the multi-storey car park next to the terminal costs just €3 on Travel Day. Parking tickets can be discounted at the airport information desk or the car park security office. Public transport users can get to Dresden Airport on S-Bahn line S2 and buses 77 and 80.
