Quick and easy: to and from the airport by car, taxi/rental car and S-Bahn

A Skywalk connects the multi-storey car park (2,900 spaces) and the check-in area. The airport is just 20-30 minutes away from the city centre by taxi. Car rentals are available in the Arrivals area. S-Bahn line 2 stops at the airport’s underground station every 30 minutes. The journey time to the city is 20 minutes.

Volume of traffic in the first half of 2017: Leipzig/Halle and Dresden Airports record growth in passenger numbers. Freight volumes continue to grow at Leipzig/Halle.

810,189 passengers passed through Dresden Airport between January and June and this represented an increase of 6.9 percent.

Germania now flying from Dresden to Reykjavik Keflavik

From today, Germania is running flights from Dresden to Reykjavik Keflavik Airport in Iceland. This gives passengers a chance to take a holiday away from the more conventional holiday destinations. Iceland is a great alternative for active holidaymakers who prefer moderate temperatures in the summer.
