Quick and easy: to and from the airport by car, taxi/rental car and S-Bahn

A Skywalk connects the multi-storey car park (2,900 spaces) and the check-in area. The airport is just 20-30 minutes away from the city centre by taxi. Car rentals are available in the Arrivals area. S-Bahn line 2 stops at the airport’s underground station every 30 minutes. The journey time to the city is 20 minutes.

More flights, more routes: Germania massively expanding flight routes from Dresden, Nuremberg and Münster/Osnabrück in summer 2017!

Summer 2017 is turning green! Berlin-based airline Germania is expanding its flight timetables for next year from Dresden, Nuremberg and Münster/Osnabrück. Not only is it increasing the frequency of flights from all three airports, it is also adding several completely new routes to popular sunshine destinations. Passengers can also look forward to even more attractive departure times in future.

High season gets under way: 80 holiday flights mark the start of the holiday season at Leipzig/Halle and Dresde – top 3 destinations: Majorca, Turkey and Bulgaria

The two Mitteldeutscher Flughafen AG airports are gearing up for the start of the summer holidays in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia. Between Friday and Sunday, 80 flights will be taking off to holiday destinations in the Mediterranean, on the Atlantic, the Black Sea and the Red Sea – 57 from Leipzig/Halle Airport and 23 from Dresden International Airport.
