Quick and easy: to and from the airport by car, taxi/rental car and S-Bahn

A Skywalk connects the multi-storey car park (2,900 spaces) and the check-in area. The airport is just 20-30 minutes away from the city centre by taxi. Car rentals are available in the Arrivals area. S-Bahn line 2 stops at the airport’s underground station every 30 minutes. The journey time to the city is 20 minutes.

Summer season gets under way: Vueling once again flies nonstop from central Germany to Barcelona five times a week

Vueling, Spain’s largest airline, will resume flights between Central Germany and Barcelona in April. There will be up to three weekly departures from Dresden (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays) and two from Leipzig/Halle (Mondays and Fridays).

New: daily connection to Switzerland - SWISS launches flights from Dresden to Zurich

The waiting is finally over: the first Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) flight departed for Zurich yesterday (Sunday). The airline is now flying its passengers to the Swiss metropolis up to twice daily, and from there onwards to more than 100 destinations worldwide. SWISS marked the new route today with an official opening ceremony.
