Air Cargo

The Dresden office of PortGround GmbH is responsible for air cargo at Dresden Airport. Like Flughafen Dresden GmbH, PortGround is a 100% subsidiary of Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG.

PortGround offers handling and import and export services, special cargo facilities and DGR dangerous goods handling in accordance with IATA and ADR. Its partners include airlines, freight forwarding companies, trucking companies, couriers, cargo and transhipment companies. All customs services are provided on-site by the airport customs office.

Cargo handling centre at Dresden Airport

Dresden Airport’s cargo handling centre currently has capacity to handle approximately 10,000 tonnes of cargo and airmail per annum. The cargo centre (building 211) is to the west of the Dresden Airport Terminal next to car park P3. Directions to this building are clearly marked on road signs. You can access a map here:
