Dresden Airport is a small city within a city. Some 3,000 people work here: pilots, baggage handlers, engineers, service staff, firemen, air traffic controllers, an airport chaplain and many more besides. There is always something happening at the airport, so it provides plenty of exciting material for the press, TV, radio and internet.
Permission for photo and video shoots
A permission is required for own photo and video shoots on the entire airport area. Please ask us, we will deal with your enquiries and try to make your wishes possible. Crews and aircraft interior views must only be filmed on approval of the respective airline.
There is a hourly charge for commercial photo and video shoots. Additional services provided, such as an accompanying person or vehicles will be charged for separately.
Permissions for photo and video shoots will be given under the condition that passengers and visitors are not affected by the activities or have no objections. It is generally prohibited to shoot security installations.
Please note that air traffic and airport operations always have priority to photo shootings. Always comply with any instructions of the security service and airport staff. Flughafen Dresden GmbH rules out liability for any damage which may occur in connection with your photo or video shoots.
