Special vehicle with snow-plough
It is used to remove snow from the runway, taxiways and aircraft parking positions. The snow-plough has a working width of max. seven metres and is mounted on the front of a truck. Normally, the truck also has a Jet sweeper trailer.
Rotary snow-plough
This winter services vehicle is used to throw the piles of snow created by ploughing along the runway and taxiways into the adjoining fields. This is to ensure an obstacle-free traffic area for the aircraft.
