Jet sweeper

This machine is used to remove snow remaining after ploughing. It has a 7-metre-wide rotating brush to sweep away the snow and a cold air ventilator to blow it out of the way.

Compact jet sweeper

This is a special vehicle fitted with a snow-plough, a rotating brush between the axles and a blowing nozzle. Due to its good manoeuvrability it is predominantly used around the aircraft parking positions.

Snow removal unit

A snow removal unit is a truck fitted with a snow-plough and a jet sweeper. It is used to clear snow from the runway, taxiways and the apron. Runway and taxiways are usually cleared by a snow removal team comprising seven of these snow removal units.
