All tours must be booked by telephone on +49 (0)351 881-3300, or 881-3360 at weekends. Photographs and videos may be taken for private use. Details of special guided tours during school holidays are announced in Dresden Airport press releases .

All participants on guided tours are given a discount voucher entitling them to 20% off their next purchase at the Market Place on the Arrivals level in the Terminal (excluding cosmetics, tobacco and special offers).

We can provide catering on guided tours if required. The Conference Centre rooms make an ideal venue.

Mini and Maxi Tours

On the Mini Tour you'll find out everything there is to know about the Terminal. You'll pass through a security check and a hand baggage check, then you'll be taken onto the airport apron in a minibus. On the Maxi Tour you'll also call in at our fire station, where there are Panthers and Mambas lying in wait! As an alternative to the fire station, we also offer Maxi Tours that include a trip to the weather station (group tours only).

Individuals can book a place on the Maxi Tours at 4.30 pm on Sundays, or they can join a pre-booked tour.

Experience and nightseeing tours

Have you ever wanted to see at first hand how aircraft cope without a reverse gear? Would you like to be there when the Fire Brigade demonstrates its firefighting equipment or the Winter Service responds to a call? Our Experience Tours offer you the chance to experience these unforgettable moments, along with a Propeller drink (with or without alcohol), an original Lufthansa Sky Chef lunchbox or a Lufthansa business menu in our best conference room with its panoramic view of the apron and the runway. Night-owls can also book this tour as a Nightseeing Tour.

Follow-Me tour

The Follow-Me tour is the ultimate tour - and makes a fantastic present. Up to four people are taken on their very own journey of discovery. After a guided tour of the terminal and a champagne reception in the best room in the Conference Centre with its panoramic view of the apron, the highlight of the Follow-Me tour is a ride across the illuminated runway. You'll listen in live to radio communications between the tower and aircraft crews and hear how the professionals guide an aircraft in all the way to its gate. You'll also visit the fire station.
