Dresden Airport has some great places to eat and drink. Diners at the panoramic Chili Restaurant can watch aircraft taking off and landing on the runway. Our shops offer a wide range of goods from freshly baked bread to exciting gift ideas. You can even book sightseeing flights with us.

Travel agencies at the airport

Dresden’s biggest travel centre is open seven days a week, including Sundays and public holidays. Our 27 travel agencies offer expert advice and a huge range of flights and holidays. While you’re visiting the travel centre, why not pop up to the visitor platform or enjoy a meal at one of our restaurants.

Conferences and parties

Dresden Airport offers outstanding facilities and a fascinating ambience for conferences, trade fairs, corporate events and private parties. Our Gallery level is 2,000 m2 in size and looks straight out over the runway. Our modern conference centre also features big panoramic windows.

Events calendar, Airport Reporter

The events at Dresden Airport attract thousands of visitors every year. Particularly popular are the Dixieland concert in May, Neighbours’ Day and the Travel Days. You’ll find all the exact dates in the calendar. The Airport Reporter contains up-to-the-minute reports of all the happenings at the airport.

Guided tours

Whether the highlight of the weekend or the holidays, a company outing or a special treat for the guests at your event at the airport, our guided tours are always an exciting experience. They include a tour of the Panther 8x8, one of Europe’s most modern airport fire fighting vehicles.

History of the airport

Just as exciting as present-day Dresden Airport is its history. Our timeline shows the most important stages in the development of the airport since it opened in 1935 and the aviation industry it has been so closely associated with. After German reunification the airport was extended and fully modernised.
