Airport Chaplaincy
The Dresden Airport Chaplaincy is provided jointly by the Protestant and Catholic churches. It is intended for passengers, crew, ground staff and neighbours of the airport.
There is a chapel on the Arrivals level of the terminal. It is open 24 hours a day for prayer and is a place of tranquillity and peace during a busy day. Holy mass is usually held in the chapel at 17:00 on the second Sunday in the month. Besides Holy Mass, the Airport Chaplaincy also holds other religious services and exhibitions. Please see the Dresden Airport Events Calendar and the chaplaincy website for current dates.
The Airport Chaplaincy has been in existence since 25 March 2001 when the new terminal opened for business. During its first five years about 12,000 people visited the chapel and its services. The Dresden Airport Chaplaincy is a member of the International Association of Civil Aviation Chaplains (IACAC).
