Documents and papers
Before starting your journey, make sure you have all your travel documents ready and that they are still valid:
- Passport
- Visa (for foreign flights)
- ID card
- Air ticket
- Driving license (if you want to hire a car)
- Traveller's cheques
- Credit card
- Health insurance certificate
- Proof of vaccinations
Make copies of all your most important travel documents. Take one copy with you in your suitcase and leave one at home. Another possibility would be to scan your documents and send the scan to your own email address. Then you will always have a copy of your documents to hand in your Inbox and your Outbox.
