Play corners and mother-and-baby facilities

To keep youngsters occupied while waiting for a flight, Dresden Airport has provided two play corners. These are located on the Departures level before and after the security check on.

Dresden Airport provides mother-and-baby facilities in both the public and non-public areas on the Arrivals and Departures levels.

Unaccompanied children

Children travelling unaccompanied are given special attention both by the airline staff and by the service personnel at the airport. If you have any questions in advance or on arrival at the airport, please contact the airport information desk.

Your child must be six years or older to be allowed to fly unaccompanied. After checking in, parents hand their child over to the flight attendants who will take care of the child while waiting in the departure lounge, during the flight and on arrival at the destination airport.

Your child should be picked up by relatives or friends at the destination airport after having passed through the baggage claim area. The person(s) collecting the child must produce proof of their identity.
