OLT Express launches new Dresden-Hamburg route

Bremen, 9 April 2012 - OLT Express Germany is launching a new route connecting Hamburg and Dresden airports starting on 23 April 2012. The Bremen-based regional airline will be operating a 50-seater Saab 2000 on this new route. The new flights can be booked from 11 April 2012 onwards online at www.oltexpress.de or through all travel agencies.

The new flights connect two key German cities that have so far not been served by a direct flight. This significantly cuts the journey time for private and business travellers. The almost 500 kilometer stretch between the two cities takes at least five hours by road, and the journey by rail cannot be done in less than four.

Seventeen departures per week with up to three round trips per day offer ideal connections between the two cities. A Saab 2000 aircraft with a seating capacity of 50 will be operated on this route. The flying time will be 60 minutes. Passengers will enjoy OLT Express’s all-inclusive service on board, with free drinks, a tasty snack, daily newspapers and comfortable, well-spaced seats. As a special

The two cities on the Elbe have had close links since 1987, when they were twinned. OLT Express CEO Prof. Dr. Joachim Klein: “We are delighted that we have been able to make this new route a reality so soon. Throughout our many discussions we had the feeling that there was significant demand for this route. I am absolutely convinced that our new route will represent a significant time-saving for many private and business travellers and that it will take relations between the two regional capitals to a new level.”
